When Standard Components Hold Back Your Innovation
Whether you are dealing with high-voltage environments, sensitive sensor interfaces, or complex power management, a generic solution rarely fits a unique problem.
Bruco IC specializes in Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) design. We don't just design chips; we solve the physical challenges of integrating the "real world" qwital processin logic. As a fabless design house with over 35 years of experience, we ensure your custom IC meets precise functional requirements while managing the entire supply chain from concept to finished product.
Mastering the boundary between ANALOG-DIGITAL
A flawless RX/TX design demands strict control over the analog-digital boundary. We isolate digital noise from sensitive analog paths, ensuring robust signal integrity at the core of the design.
From Concept to Calibrated Supply
Managing wafer foundries, packaging houses, and test facilities can be a nightmare for R&D teams. We manage all these aspects, ensuring your chips are delivered on time.
Lay-out optimalisation
Our engineers use strict partitioning and grounding methods to isolate noise at its source and prevent it from affecting sensitive analog circuits through the substrate.
Verification and validation
We catch integration and noise issues before they are fixed in silicon. Our multidisciplinary teams and thorough verification are supported by our own measurement lab.

Deep Expertise in RF & High-Frequency Design
Bruco IC is a 'fabless' design house. This is a deliberate, strategic choice. Unlike an IDM (Integrated Device Manufacturer), we are not tied to our own factory. This gives you as a customer ultimate freedom. We select the foundry and the process node (from 1µm to 22nm) that is technically and commercially optimal for your specific application. Do you want the full overview of our network and IP knowhow? We recommend contacting us or downloading our corporate brochure for a brief overview.
Processes & Nodes
As an independent design house, you get the freedom to choose the most suitable technology for each application.
Bruco IC selects the optimal semiconductor process across nodes ranging from 1μm to 22nm. Our methodology evaluates frequency requirements, power constraints, and cost targets to identify the ideal fabrication technology for your application.

IP know-how
We can integrate a broad range of IP into your custom solution. But rather than forcing IP blocks into your design, we prioritize the optimal solution for your specific requirements. Whether that's proven third-party IP, custom-developed blocks, or hybrid approaches. This flexible approach ensures your ASIC achieves maximum performance and differentiation while minimizing development risks.

The Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) costs vary significantly based on complexity (e.g., analog vs. RF content) and the chosen process node. A feasibility study is the only way to get a better estimate, but general estimates for high-end Analog Mixed-Signal ASIC design start in the mid-six figures, covering design, verification, masks, and initial wafers.
A typical full-cycle project takes approximately 18 to 24 months. This includes 6-8 months for architecture/design, 4-6 months for fabrication (tape-out to first silicon samples), and 4-8 months for validation, characterization, and final qualification (RFS milestone)
We offer flexible engagement models. While we excel at full turnkey ASIC solutions, our engineers frequently integrate with R&D teams, providing specialized expertise in e.g. RF design (e.g. PLLs) ,or gate-driver implementation, verification and/or layout support.
As a fabless house, we use the best technology for your spec. For high-performance RFICs, we often utilize SiGe or RF-SOI nodes (down to 22nm) for optimal balance of speed and power, working with leading foundries like Global Foundries, TSMC, Tower Semiconductor, and X-fab.
All custom design intellectual property developed specifically for your project is owned by you. Next to that we have our own secure IT infrastructure where the design database and EDA licenses reside.
Post-production support is included as part of the supply chain management, covering long-term logistics, buffer stock agreements, yield monitoring, and obsolescence management. We ensure your product remains reliably available throughout its full commercial lifecycle.
