test-strategy
Ready to validate your PA design?
We are a design house with an advanced, in-house test laboratory and an extensive partner network to qualify and validate custom silicon. We collaborate with your team to define a robust electrical test specification based on your ASIC's design, application, and reliability targets.
We follow a structured, risk-managed development process that ensures a zero-defect strategy and predictable results. Our modular services adapt to your specific needs, whether you require full qualification management or specialized testing.
ATE Program & Hardware Development
We develop custom test programs and hardware (application boards) for automatic test equipment (ATE) to ensure efficient and repeatable silicon verification.
Silicon Verification & Characterization
Using our in-house lab, we validate the first silicon samples against the spec, performing deep characterization across voltage, temperature, and process corners.
Full Qualification & Reliability Testing
We manage the entire qualification process according to JEDEC (industrial/consumer) or AEC-Q100 (automotive) standards, including ESD, HTOL, and other reliability tests.
Failure Analysis & Reporting
If issues arise, our design experts perform deep electrical failure analysis to pinpoint the root cause, providing actionable feedback for design or process adjustments.
Capabilities
Our in-house laboratory is specifically equipped for the complexities of RF, AMS, and high-power ASICs:
RF & mmWave Characterization: Expertise in testing complex RFICs for applications like 5G, SatCom, and positioning systems.
Automatic Test Equipment (ATE): Benches for automated validation, characterization, and production-level testing.
Analog & Mixed-Signal Precision: Advanced measurement methods for low-noise, high-voltage, and high-precision analog circuits.
System-Level Application Testing: We design custom firmware and GUIs to validate your chip's performance in a real-world application environment.

FAQ
Maximize RF PA with our load pull measurement service
Explore Bruco IC's comprehensive load-pull measurement services up to the harmonics to optimize PAE, linearity, and intermodulation products.
Verification proves your design meets its functional and performance specifications. Qualification proves the design is reliable and robust over its intended lifetime and operating conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) using industry standards like JEDEC or AEC-Q100.
No. Our team is highly experienced in developing custom test programs and the associated ATE hardware (test boards) from your design specification.
Yes. We manage the entire qualification process from start to finish. This is a core part of our turnkey service. We define the full qualification plan based on AEC-Q100 standards, and then coordinate the execution of all reliability tests (like HTOL, ESD) with our specialized, certified partners, such as Eurofins Maser. We analyze all results and provide the complete, compliant documentation package.
While our in-house load-pull system supports fundamental measurements up to 18.0 GHz, we can also offer mmWave IC design and measurements in collaboration with our partners, especially as part of a complete RFIC design project.
This is handled on a case-by-case basis. Our verification and lab services are deeply integrated with our turnkey ASIC development process. However, for specific and complex challenges (especially in RF and mixed-signal), we may be able to help. The best approach is to contact our engineers to discuss your specific test requirements.
Our in-house RF lab is managed by RF design engineers. We not only measure standard parameters but also understand the nuances of RF-specific challenges like signal integrity, anti-jamming, and beam-forming, particularly for Ku-band and 5G applications.
