Bruco IC Joins EU Business Hub Mission to Semicon Japan 2025

Strengthening the alliance between European Design Expertise and Japanese Manufacturing.

Bruco IC Joins EU Business Hub Mission to Semicon Japan 2025

From December 15-19, Bruco IC is present in Tokyo as part of the EU Business Hub mission. Located in West Hall 1, Booth W1401, we are showcasing how specialized Custom ICs drive innovation in markets like Physical AI and Quantum Computing, while establishing a robust supply chain through strategic partnerships with Japanese foundries.

As a leading European fabless design house, our presence in the EU Pavilion (Booth W1401) is driven by two strategic goals that directly address current market challenges.

1. Beyond the limits of Discrete Components

In sectors like Automotive, Physical AI, and Quantum Computing, standard off-the-shelf components are increasingly becoming a bottleneck. They often consume too much power, take up too much space, or simply fail to hit the required frequencies.

At Semicon Japan, Bruco IC demonstrates how Custom ICs (ASICs) overcome these limitations. With nearly 40 years of expertise in RF and mixed-signal design, we help our clients achieve specifications that are impossible with discrete components. By integrating functions into a single chip, we enable higher performance, miniaturization, and better energy efficiency—giving our clients a decisive competitive advantage in their respective markets.

2. Economic Security through Strategic Collaboration

The global landscape calls for robust and diversified supply chains. Bruco IC is in Tokyo not just to showcase design capabilities, but to facilitate a stable supply of critical components for our customers.

We see great potential in collaborating on European-Japanese custom ICs. By combining European design excellence with the advanced manufacturing capabilities of Japanese foundries, we aim to create a secure, high-quality supply chain. This approach aligns perfectly with the Japanese semiconductor strategy and offers our global customers economic security and reduced dependency on single sources.

We invite you to discuss your roadmap and explore how Bruco IC can help.
